PASSION BLOG (SLEEPING)

For this passion blog I decided to talk about how much I enjoy sleeping. The reason why I choose this is because when I do get the chance to sleep; its like ive never slept before. I'm currently a senior in high school, and the amount of stuff that we have to do throughout the day is really stressful. Such as, passing our classes and making sure that everything is completed and good to go for the next day. Also, the college research, financial aid package, and applying for scholarships as well just adds on to the stress. I am also in a capital one internship that I have to be committed to it 100% and make sure I attend all the meetings and work the internship assigns me to do... this distracts me from doing school work and college research. College is very expensive and I should be applying for the scholarships,but I'm so committed to capital one i don't have the time to spare to study for my SATs nor apply for these scholarships. I don't even have time for myself anymore or to spend time with my family or friends because throughout the weekend I'm really just catching up on my sleep.. and it feels so great to finally lay down and REST! I know that right now things are rough and stressful but I know when I'm walking across that stage in June all of my sleepless nights and hard work will be worth it.

    Sleep is also very important to teenaged brain development. Make sure you use paragraphs to organize ideas!

    I loved this. I understand that you spend the time that you can to sleep and I wish I could too. But girl you need to be looking for these scholarships because that will also be worth it when you win one. And you are right all this will pay off at the end because seeing how stressed out we are and we are only seniors in high school is really sad and it will be worse in college.

    I agree with you because this year is a lot to deal with. But at the same time you need to relax so you can get your thoughts together, get your mind right.

    I also love to sleep. But I never get to sleep in, because Shaleena and my mom don't know hot to keep it down while i'm sleeping.
