What am I going to do for the next 30-40 years of my life?! (FC)

Lately, I've been doing a lot of thinking especially because it’s my last year in high school, and I'm going away to college in less than 6 months. So it hit me! What does love like to do? What can I see myself doing for the next 30 to 40 years of my life?! It’s pretty exciting because I'm molding myself into a educated adult and preparing myself for the "real world" at the same time it’s so scary because I knew this time will come, but it came faster than I thought. Throughout my entire life I've noticed that numbers and I had a strong relationship. So, I was thinking maybe accounting would be a good idea! As I'm doing my research on this certain career I noticed that everything has to do with taxes and making sure that number match up etc.. This sounds amazing to me but I honestly don't want to grow old doing other peoples taxes. It’s something I like, but I want to do something that I LOVE! So I know even if I have years in doing whatever I'm going to be doing; I won’t get tired of the career I choose to do for the rest of my life.

Passion Blog- Music

Music is my escape. It’s my escape because when I'm feeling really happy I can play a song that can make my mood better than it was before. Or whenever I'm feeling down and I play a song that I like  my mood somehow changes into something better because of how much interest also the amount of entertainment it gives because it stops me from me thinking about what was making me upset in the first place which is why music is my escape. Music really does make my day more productive because I can be really exhausted but I know I have chores to do such as cleaning my room, doing laundry, or even styling my hair for the next day. When I listen to music is like everything I was feeling changes automatically and I get in the mood to do what I had to do which made my day more productive. Sometimes I won’t have anything to do, and by just listening to music I'll think about doing something productive to start my day.

Interdisciplinary Blog- Mr. Rich's Statistics Class

In Mr. Rich's class we are doing a lesson called Standard Deviation. Standard Deviation is a measure that is used to quantify the amount of variation or dispersion of a set of data values. I'm usually good at statistics ,but this specific lesson was a little confusing to me due to all the steps you have to do to find the answer. With time I've realized that if you know the steps then the problem will be much more easier and quicker to solve. In my opinion, the skill that has to be used with this lesson is memorization because if you memorize the steps then you basically have all you need. As well using a calculator, to find the standard deviation there are further steps you need to know which are very little to find the answer on the calculator. This is much easier than writing out the table and doing all of the seven steps. In the calculator, you first have to click on "Stat" then go all the way down to number four and clear the list after doing that you go "Stat" again click on number one and start writing down the numbers. after that you go to "calc" click on number one and it shows all of the long seven steps you did by hand. I love math, and I think i always will, but this lesson taught me that my memorization skills are not so great. But I'm happy that with the new technology we have today calculators are a great resource.
